Another successful Virtual CPD Summer School
29 June 2022
We successfully delivered our third annual Summer School programme, filled with free CPD webinars from the University's Research Centres and Institutes.
Over 400 people registered for the programme, with many signing up for more than one session. The programme contained 13 sessions, featuring academics and professional services staff from 15 research centres, academic Schools and strategic partners. We will be collating further information and sharing feedback in the coming weeks.
The aim of our summer school was to offer free sessions exploring critical success factors to rescue, revive and renew following the COVID-19 pandemic. Sessions focused on areas of up-skilling, re-skilling and new-skilling, and how research happening across the University can translate into helping you improving your professional skills and knowledge.
We're incredibly proud of our Summer School programme, which began in 2020 as a response to the pandemic. We'd like to thank all the academics and colleagues who presented a session, as well as everyone who attended.
We've made all the sessions available on our YouTube channel - and you can also view our extensive library of other Summer Schools and free webinars from the School of Medicine and others. For example, take a look at this webinar on Motivational Interviewing for working with children and families, hosted by Professor Donald Forrester from CASCADE.
