School celebrates those going the extra mile for students
The School of History, Archaeology and Religion is celebrating the impact of staff and student representatives in this year’s annual awards, with 6 nominees shortlisted from a school nomination of 15, and a win in the Student Representative Coordinator of the Year and Student Rep of the Year categories.
The Enriching Student Life Awards (ESLAs) are an annual awards ceremony, created to recognise the amazing staff members and students who have helped contribute to the student experience.
Head of School Professor James Hegarty said:
“I am delighted that the school made such a strong showing in the ESLA awards this year. It is a testament to the hard work of colleagues and students alike.”
The school’s 6 shortlisted 2022 nominees are Dr Padma Anagol (Most Uplifting Member of Staff of the Year), Dr Paul Webster (Personal Tutor of the Year) and Dr Nicki Kindersley (Winner, Student Representative Coordinator of the Year), Anna Moller (Winner, Student Representative of the Year - Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences) and Phedra Komodromou (Student Representative of the Year - Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences).
All nominees attend the awards ceremony held annually in early May.
In this twelfth year of the awards, the school nominees featured across 7 of the 10 award categories.
