“Livestock Markets as therapeutic sites: evaluating third sector approaches to rural health in Wales” will examine the role of livestock markets in providing care and support for farmers and rural communities.
“Developing a Model of Biosecurity Persuasion for Bovine Tuberculosis: An Examination of Different Styles of Biosecurity Communication Employed by Farm Vets and Advisors” will examine the geographical variations in the implementation of biosecurity by farmers in different areas of animal disease risk.
The School is also inviting applications for ESRC Wales DTP Fully-funded PhD ‘General’ studentships, with the possibility of being awarded a fully-funded ESRC DTP Studentship, available to start in October 2022 in Human Geography, and Environmental Planning.
