Wales Governance Centre named in Co-operation Agreement

A new Co-operation Agreement between the Welsh Government and Plaid Cymru includes a commitment to work with Cardiff University’s Wales Governance Centre.

The landmark deal, signed this week by the government and Plaid Cymru, confirms that the core purpose of the centre’s Wales Fiscal Analysis project will continue to be supported as the two partners unveil a shared programme of work for the next three years.

The Co-operation Agreement will also complement the ongoing work of the Constitutional Commission, which is co-chaired by the Wales Governance Centre’s Professor Laura McAllister. The agreement ensures that the centre will remain at the heart of policymaking in Wales for the current Senedd term.
