Nederland Beslist | The Netherlands Decides 2021: Wales Governance Centre Briefing

Cardiff University’s Wales Governance Centre will hold a webinar on the 2021 Dutch elections, looking at the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the potential coalitions which will govern the country.

With Wales also set to hold a national election during the pandemic, and the possibility of another coalition government in Cardiff Bay, there are sure to be insights to be drawn from this discussion with our near neighbours.

Wales Governance Centre lecturer Dr Ed Gareth Poole will chair a panel featuring Daniëlle van Osch, Leiden University, Robert van Geffen from the Central Bank of the Netherlands, and Jeroen Romeijn of Leiden University.

The webinar takes place as voters go to the polls on Tuesday March 16^th at 17:00 (Wales time). Registration details can be found here.

Het Centrum voor Welshe Bestuur van Cardiff University zal een webinar houden over de Nederlandse verkiezingen van 2021, waarin wordt gekeken naar de impact van de Coronapandemie en de mogelijke coalities die het land zullen regeren.

Nu Wales ook op het punt staat om tijdens de pandemie nationale verkiezingen te houden, en de mogelijkheid van een nieuwe coalitieregering in Cardiff Bay, zullen er ongetwijfeld inzichten worden getrokken uit deze discussie met onze naaste buren.

Dr. Ed Gareth Poole, docent van het Centrum voor Welshe Bestuur, zal een panel voorzitten met Daniëlle van Osch van de Universiteit Leiden, Robert van Geffen van de Nederlandsche Bank en Jeroen Romeijn van de Universiteit Leiden.
