McAllister campaign website goes live

Professor Laura McAllister has launched a new website as part of her bid for a seat on the FIFA Council.

The former Wales national team captain works closely with the Football Association of Wales and UEFA, is also an academic at Cardiff University’s Wales Governance Centre, and is running for UEFA’s women’s position on the FIFA Council.

With her campaign attracting significant attention throughout Europe, Professor McAllister has recently made pledges on ensuring diverse voices are heard at the highest levels of football decision-making, and on securing a better financial deal for the women’s World Cup.

The deciding vote amongst the 55 UEFA member associations will take place at the organisation’s Congress in Montreux, Switzerland on April 20th.
