Grange Pavilion CIO holds its first Annual General Meeting (AGM)
17 December 2019
On the 9th of December, 2019, Grange Pavilion CIO held its first Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Board members, residents, funders and members of the Grange Pavilion Youth Forum gathered at Tramshed Tech, who kindly hosted the meeting, to receive the charity’s first Annual Report and hear the latest news on the build.
It was lovely to meet with residents and hear their thoughts about the new building and project as a whole. Feedback was positive, with one resident saying:
“People are excited! Keep the positivity going!”
It was lovely to see a number of the Grange Pavilion Youth Club attend the AGM and especially fantastic to hear that one of their members will join the board in 2020 to ensure that young people have a say in the ongoing development of Grange Pavilion.
And finally, it was fantastic to welcome Joe Redmond from the National Lottery and Stephen Rogers from Cardiff Bay Rotary Club as funders of the capital build project.
We had a brilliant three hours meeting new people, hearing thoughts, taking questions and celebrating the project’s journey so far. We’re already looking forward to next year’s AGM!
