Cardiff University’s Wales Governance Centre and Elin Jones AM, Llywydd of the National Assembly, hosted the former Australian Prime Minister, the Hon Julia Gillard AC, for a discussion event with Professor Laura McAllister.
Several hundred people packed out the Senedd building last night to hear Julia Gillard and Laura McAllister discuss gender, politics and leadership. The event recounted her political career and her thoughts on the future of women’s representation and equality amidst a toxic global climate.
