The Centre for Advanced Manufacturing Systems at Cardiff (CAMSAC) is proud of its strong track record of developing the next generation of researchers.
The Centre has recently been successful in supporting three of its early career academics towards success in winning EPSRC First Grant Awards.
Dr Yingli Wang from Cardiff Business School and Dr Samuel Bigot and Dr Emmanuel Brousseau, both from the School of Engineering have between them secured funds totalling almost £300k.
Their projects are aimed respectively at:
- defining and measuring communication flexibility for smart logistics
- investigating an advanced modelling approach for micro EDM wear analysis
- researching new cost effective and scalable techniques for nano scale tooling.
