Farewell to Guizhou University delegates

We bid a fond farewell to academics from Guizhou University with a certificate and gift giving ceremony, as their 4-month Innovative Teaching Practice Programme draws to a close.

The event was hosted by Professor Nora de Leeuw, Pro Vice-Chancellor International and Europe, and Professor Wen Jiang of the School of Medicine.

Guests enjoyed an informal buffet reception at Cardiff University, following Poster Presentations from each delegate, which focused on a key area of teaching and pedagogical practice that they will develop when they return to China.

The 10 academics from Guizhou University arrived in Cardiff in September 2018 to undertake the 4-month Innovative Teaching Practice Programme which consisted of different elements, including teaching sessions from the School of Social Sciences, lecture observations within their own teaching discipline, English Language support and cultural excursions.
