Emmajane Milton and Dr Alex Morgan from Cardiff University, with Dr Caroline Daly from UCL, are speaking at the upcoming EDRC Festival in Cardiff.
Emmajane and her colleagues are delivering a free seminar on the place of research in teaching on Thursday 8 November at 5.30pm.
Growing teacher expertise: is research the answer?
Developing teacher expertise in research is a contentious challenge – highly desirable but more complex than is often appreciated by all stakeholders involved in Education. What does it really mean to be research informed as a teacher? How do we know we can trust the evidence teachers are supposed to act on? Is it possible to establish a genuinely research literate workforce at a national scale?
How can I join?
Join Emmajane and her colleagues for an interactive workshop session exploring key themes from research findings, a space for free and frank debate focused on the value of research to inform and support educational practice in Wales.
Register for the event here.
