School of Mathematics rated highly in 2015 National Student Survey
12 August 2015
Student satisfaction at Cardiff has increased again, according to the latest National Student Survey, published on 12 August – with the School of Mathematics achieving 95% overall satisfaction in the Mathematical Sciences placing it third in the Russell Group of Universities. The overall satisfaction for the Mathematics, Operational Research and Statistics programme was 100%.
The annual survey asks final year undergraduate students to rate their satisfaction with various aspects of their degree programme – the teaching, assessment and feedback, academic support, organisation and management, learning resources, personal development and their overall satisfaction.
These results highlight the exceptional academic environment that the School has worked hard to create in terms of its teaching, study facilities and providing development opportunities for students, including professional placements and options to study abroad.
