The School of Mathematics has topped a list of leading UK universities for overall satisfaction in an important survey based entirely on the opinions of current students.
The Cardiff University-based School came out on top among all Russell Group Universities in the main category of Overall Satisfaction in this year’s National Student Survey.
An impressive 95% of students agreed that they were satisfied with their overall experience during their time at Cardiff.
Professor Tim Phillips, Head of the School of Mathematics at Cardiff University, said: “To receive such positive feedback from the National Student Survey is particularly pleasing to us as a School as the survey directly expresses the views of our students.
“We are committed to providing all of our students with the best learning experience possible. We value their feedback and will continue to listen to their views and strive to deliver on important issues.”
The Russell Group represents 24 leading UK universities - including the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge - which are committed to maintaining the very best research, an outstanding teaching and learning experience and unrivalled links with business and the public sector.
The National Student Survey seeks feedback from final year students on a range of key aspects of study on behalf of all UK universities.
