Sky Dome location for film challenge
4 May 2017
The Welsh School of Architecture’s artificial sky facility has been used as the location for a Sci-Fi London 48 hour film and flash fiction challenge entry.
The film, entitled “Long Winded”, was directed by independent film-maker and Cardiff University employee Paul Allen. To qualify for the challenge, the film could be a maximum of 5 minutes. It also had to incorporate a particular line of dialogue (“Those are two things that should not be mixed”) and use a phone or tablet as a prop, with one character using the device to scan another’s eye or face. The team then had two days to write, shoot, edit and deliver the short film.
“Long Winded” can be viewed on 33Story Production’s Youtube channel.
