BSc in Architectural Studies interns have developed introduction to architecture learning and teaching resources packs.
The packs are for the Welsh Baccalaureate and Key Stage 1 pupils, which are available online here and through WJEC.
The Introduction to Architecture resources were piloted in summer 2015 at a number of events, including a Sustainable Bug Houses stand at Grangetown Festival, a workshop creating and testing model boats from recycled materials at the University’s St David’s College STEM Event, Cardiff University’s Step Up + Summer School, and an Introduction to Architecture workshop at Ninian Park School.
The introduction to architecture packs are aimed at introducing architecture as a subject and career to primary, secondary and Further Education pupils, and to act as a resource for pupils interested in applying to Architecture schools.
For more information on the Introduction to Architecture learning and teaching resources, or to request a workshop delivered by our Architectural Interns, contact Mhairi McVicar.
