PACT Study holds successful Consensus Day
16 January 2017
The PACT study looks at the information patients may need when considering treatment options for lung cancer and any support they may require when reaching decision making.
Patient representatives and clinicians were invited to the Life Sciences Hub in Cardiff Bay to participate in a consensus day where a presentation of the study results was given.
This was followed by parallel group discussions and a plenary discussion centred around the patient clinical pathway to understand what, when and how information should reach patients and carers.
The data from this event will be summarised and a Delphi survey will inform consensus on the intervention details and format.
