Delve into the world of smartphone content creation with new free 'Smartlife' workshops
7 June 2018
New 'Smartlife' workshops at Grange Pavilion will introduce local residents to the world of content creation on smartphones as part of Adult Learners' Week.
Attendees on the beginners workshops will learn how to shoot a video and record podcasts using their own iPhone or Android phone. They will also be taught how to plan, record, write and edit content as well as how to build an audience for their creations.
The free 2.5 hour workshops have been organised by Grangetown Community Action and will be run by Steve Austins, Director of Grangetown based audio content company, Bengo Media and TV and radio producer Jay Harley.
Steve says: "People's ability to create their own video and podcast is literally in their own pocket nowadays. This course intends to give people a basic understanding of what they can create with a mobile phone. As a business based in Grangetown, I'm proud to present these courses in the heart of the community at the Grange Pavilion"
The workshops are open to all adult learners and will take place at Grange Pavilion, Grangetown, Cardiff at the following times:
- Tuesday 19 June 15:00
- Tuesday 19 June 18:00
