STEM - Inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers
19 June 2015
Members of the CCI take part in University's annual STEM conference.
Members of the CCI recently met over 400 students from St David's Catholic Sixth Form College to highlight the value of studying science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) as part of the University's annual STEM Conference
Amongst the many talks, workshops and practical exhibitions being offered throughout the day, students learned about how, with the aid of catalysis, the CCI is helping to clean up greywater, improving automotive emissions and 3D computational structure and design of catalysts.
Students were also shown the value of catalysis together with interactive demonstrations of how catalysis works.
