NCMH celebrates 10,000 participants
5 February 2018
The National Centre for Mental Health has hit an incredible target, with more than 10,000 people taking part in their mental health research.
To mark the occasion the NCMH team celebrated with a big chocolate cake and created a video to say thank you to everyone who has contributed to this significant milestone.
Thank you
NCMH celebrated 10,000 participants
Among the 10,000 participants was Munzir Quraishy, a student at Cardiff University and a research champion for NCMH.
Munzir said, "I heard about the research taking place at NCMH during my studies and knew I had to take part. It’s amazing to hear 10,000 people have taken part in research that can be used to develop more treatments and support. With 10,000 people signing up it’s great to think how many conversations have been started by this research."
Be part of the next 10,000
The NCMH is looking for thousands of more people, with and without experience of mental illness, to get involved in their research. You can take part online and it should only take around 15 minutes.
