Public lecture: 'Neuroimaging of ADHD’
4 January 2018
Professor Katya Rubia, from King's College London, will deliver a public lecture as part of a Neurodevelopmental Research Day on Thursday 15 February.
Hosted by Cardiff University’s Neuroscience and Mental Health Research Institute (NMHRI) and School of Psychology, the lecture is entitled 'Neuroimaging of ADHD: From biomarker search to neurotherapy'.
Prof Rubia, who is Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience at King's College London, will present the latest meta-analytic findings of structural and functional deficits in ADHD and their disorder-specificity relative to other childhood disorders. She will also discuss recent translational neuroimaging approaches such as imaging-based diagnostic classification of ADHD and neurotherapies involving fMRI-neurofeedback and brain stimulation.
The lecture will take place from 3pm-4pm in the Sir Martin Evans Building Anatomy Lecture Theatre (Room E/0.09), with doors open for registration from 2.30pm.
All are welcome to attend this free public lecture, but booking is required.
