It was a busy week for the School of Welsh last week as we hosted the Cardiff Welsh Course – a two day course for students in South-west and South-east Wales who are studying Welsh A-Level and AS Level.
Two students won scholarships from the School of Welsh, through the generosity of the Santander Universities scheme, to travel to Patagonia during the summer recess.
From poetry and book launches to talks on fracking and diseases of the brain; Cardiff University's line up for this year's Eisteddfod promises to be both entertaining and stimulating.
The School is committed to the development of language, society and identity in contemporary Wales through teaching and research of the highest standard.
