Induction week timetables
If you have an offer for one of the on-campus Pre-sessional courses, you are expected to arrive in Cardiff in time to attend the first day of your pre-sessional course.
During induction week, there will be important activities to complete, you will complete a written task and meet your tutors and other students on the course. This will all help you settle into academic life at the University. You must complete all activities on the induction schedule.

20-week online course induction timetable

| Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 April 2023 | Complete at a time that suits you | 1. set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) using two of the options explained You will not be able to access the University systems until you have done this. If you have any trouble with this, please contact the IT Service Desk or telephone +44 (0)29 2251 1111. 2. log-in to your Cardiff University email account You will need to check your Cardiff University email after 15:00 BST on Tuesday 18 April to find out which class you will be in. 3. log-in to Microsoft Teams and access the “2023 20 week Online Pre-sessional Administration” Team 4. click files, follow the Admin Student Guides and read the Academic Induction PPT 5. watch the Academic Video Guides 6. complete the Student induction writing task 2023 (please save a copy before you edit the document) 7. log-in to Learning Central Read the documents in the Student Information folder. 8. pay your Pre-sessional fees if you have not already done so |
