Orientation programme

Online Orientation is designed to help you prepare for starting life at Cardiff University. It provides an overview of topics like mental health, study support, and life in Cardiff, so you’re fully prepared for your time with us.

Orientation is divided into sections known as ‘decks’, with bespoke decks for international students, postgraduate students (taught and research) and students studying at Heath Park campus.

Completing the programme

We recommend you complete online Orientation before you arrive on campus to be fully prepared for student life. In early September you will receive an email from welcome@cardiff.ac.uk with instructions on completing Orientation. Each link is unique and specific to you, so make sure you only access it from the link in your email. You can complete each deck in any order you’d like.
