Contemporary Music Group
The Contemporary Music Group performs exciting and engaging music by living composers to a high standard in two concerts every year.
Anyone can audition for the Contemporary Music Group. It's a flexible group of players and singers performing music, from solo pieces to music for vocal ensemble or chamber orchestra.
Recent years have seen the Contemporary Music Group perform concerts of contemporary music from South Africa, Portugal, and the UK, programmes of minimalist music, music influenced by jazz and popular music, and music by recent alumni of Cardiff University School of Music.
