Agnieszka Pluta
Agnieszka Pluta is an accomplished concert pianist and passionate piano educator based in the UK.
She holds a PhD in Performance Practice from Cardiff University and has dedicated her life to inspiring musicians of all levels through both performance and teaching.

Agnieszka’s musical journey began in Poland, where she studied under renowned professors Monika Sikorska-Wojtacha, Robert Marat, and Maria Szwajger-Kułakowska at the Academy of Music in Katowice. Continuing her education at the Royal College of Music in London, she was awarded a full scholarship and the prestigious Milstein Medal Award, studying under Kevin Kenner and Nigel Clayton.
Throughout her career, she has earned multiple international and national awards, including the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Cross of Merit from the British Polish Community for her artistic and pedagogical achievements.
As a performer, Agnieszka specialises in Neoromantic music, with a repertoire often featuring works by Paderewski, Chopin, and Rachmaninov. Her solo and chamber music performances have captivated audiences across the UK and Europe, including a critically acclaimed London debut at St. James’s Piccadilly in 2007. She has recorded solo albums and podcasts, sharing her interpretations and insights into the pianistic styles of Paderewski and the Neoromantic tradition.
A dedicated educator, Agnieszka currently teaches piano at Cardiff University School of Music, where she mentors the next generation of musicians. She previously taught at Birmingham University and has led masterclasses both in the UK and internationally, empowering pianists to develop their artistic voices. Her expertise as both a performer and teacher provides a unique blend of inspiration and technical depth for her students.
Agnieszka’s contributions extend beyond the stage and classroom. She is also a published writer and composer, sharing her deep understanding of music through articles and compositions. Recognised with multiple cultural scholarships from Poland’s Ministry of Culture and the President of Zabrze, Agnieszka continues to inspire through her artistry, teaching, and dedication to the musical community.
