Scholarships
We offer two forms of MA scholarships that are awarded on the basis of eligibility and are dispersed to successful students as a tuition fee discount.
Both come from the School’s portfolio of bequests. (Please note all scholarships are subject to availability on a year-on-year basis.)

Scholarships of £500 are available to alumni of the School of Music who wish to continue their postgraduate studies with the School on the MA in Music programme.
Applicants must have achieved a first class undergraduate degree result to be eligible for this award and have applied to the MA programme no later than the 31 July to be eligible for the next academic year’s intake.
All applicants will be considered automatically for the scholarships upon application and informed via email if you have been successful.
International Elite Scholarships
Scholarships of £1000 are available to international applicants who are alumni from one of our international partner institutions.
Eligible applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarships upon application to the programme but must have successfully met the conditions of their offer by 31 August to be successfully awarded a scholarship for the next academic year’s intake.
