In support of Welsh Government’s global futures strategy, we have established a partnership with Goethe Institut London to promote and raise the profile of German as a long term choice of academic study.

Studying German can lead to exciting and valued career opportunities for secondary school students. Therefore, our partnership will focus on building capacity and supporting the professional development of the education workforce in secondary, Further Education and Higher Education sectors and will also provide enhanced learning opportunities to engage and excite learners.

Through their satellite office based in the School of Modern Languages, Goethe Institut London works closely with our academics to support research and engagement events.
