16th International Adenovirus Meeting (IAMXVI)

We are delighted to announce our 16th International Adenovirus Meeting (#IAMXVI) will take place in Cardiff, the capital city of Wales.

Cardiff is a vibrant and dynamic city that is steeped in history, myths and legends (and the Welsh do love a dragon, hence the IAM XVI logo). The iconic Cardiff Castle which adorns the city centre dates back to AD55, making it almost 2000 years old. Cardiff is also well known as the birthplace of children’s author Roald Dahl, its iconic green spaces such as Bute Park, and its arcades – many of which date back to Edwardian and Victorian times.

It is a great pleasure to welcome the adenovirus community to our sunny capital city in south Wales. We hope you will enjoy your time here, and may even extend your stay to explore the many beautiful beaches and rugged coastlines of south and west Wales.

Our conference will take place in the Centre for Student Life , next to the main campus of Cardiff University, and half a mile walk from Cardiff city centre. This state-of-the-art building provides modern lecture theatres and break-out spaces, with ample spaces for poster boards,  light and open spaces for poster board networking, sponsors and for serving food and drinks.
