Recent media coverage of a press release issued by the Royal Astronomical Society on micro-organisms and the Philae Comet has inaccurately reported the research is associated with Cardiff University/University of Cardiff.

Dr Wallis and Professor Wickramasinghe have no current association with Cardiff University, nor does their research.
