Cardiff University Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) qualification - 10 April 2015

The General Dental Council (GDC) and Cardiff University, working together, have identified a technical issue with the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) qualification.

This only applies to dentists registered with the GDC upon the basis of Cardiff University BDS qualifications awarded from 2010 - 2014. 

 As a result the GDC and Cardiff University have written jointly to all those dentists affected setting out what action is required to resolve the issue.

It is important to stress that these dentists will be able to continue working throughout this process; their name will continue on the dentists register and; registration will continue normally after this process.
