The Architecture Library is situated on the second floor of the Bute Building on King Edward VII Avenue. Non-members are welcome to visit and use the resources within the library.

We provide the following services and facilities for your convenience and to support your study needs:

Within the library

• Large and small storage lockers
• Loanable  student laptops, headphones, charger cables, PC mice, whiteboard marker kits and calculators
• Book swap area for sharing fiction
• Wellbeing area for your relaxation

Outside the library

• Toilets (male, female and accessible)
• Water fountains
• Food and drink vending machines
• Hot water point

Access

Entry to the Bute Building is controlled by swipe card access after 17:00 weekdays and all weekend.

• Located on the second floor of the Bute Building – there is lift access from the ground floor and lower ground floor.
• Two reserved disabled parking spaces are provided in the Bute car park. The side door from the car park is the main entrance route for wheelchair users.
• An accessible toilet is situated on the first floor landing.
• Staff will retrieve books from the shelves – please ask for assistance.
