Expert Witness Certificate

We are responsible for assessing, quality assuring and certificating a formal expert witness training programme in partnership with Bond Solon, the UK’s leading expert witness training provider.

Bond Solon, the UK’s leading expert witness training provider, offers three expert witness certificates:

• Civil Expert Certificate
• Criminal Expert Certificate
• Family Expert Certificate

The Expert Witness Certificate is highly regarded amongst law firms and other instructing parties. To date over 4,233 experts from a wide variety of professions have completed or are in the process of completing one of more of the three certificates.

The Expert Witness Certificate is assessed by staff from Cardiff University’s School of Law and Politics and if successful, candidates will be issued a certificate of competence. The certificate of competence demonstrates to instructing parties that candidates are competent to perform the role of the expert witness.

Please note the Expert Witness Certificate is not a credit bearing Cardiff University Award. Cardiff University provide assessment services only to Bond Solon and all Bond Solon rules and regulations prevail for candidates undertaking the Expert Witness Certificate.
