Ancient History
Explore ancient civilisations over two millennia, stretching from Greece and Rome to Mesopotamia, Iran and beyond, from the fall of the Egyptian New Kingdom to the rise of Islam.
You’ll discover ancient worlds through original source materials: ranging from epic poems, relief sculptures to Egyptian papyri and uncover voices from the past speaking through ancient theatrical performance and private letters.
By way of archaeology, art, architecture and material culture, you will understand the past and how the legacy of these ancient civilisations still shapes who we are today.
