Taste for teaching?

Notch up valuable experience, put your degree subject into context for younger minds and deliver special activities designed by fellow postgraduates in our SHARE with Schools project or the Classroom Experience Project.

After graduation

Support continues at early of career stage, with access to careers advice and latest information – from graduate internships to careers fairs, latest careers and vacancy information – in the key first 3 years following graduation.

As careers evolve, our LinkedIn Alumni group opens up a supportive network (10,000+ alumni members), making it easy to access advice from fellow alumni, including career questions and job opportunities.

  • 87% of our postgraduate taught graduates were in employment and/or further study, due to start a new job or course, or doing other activities such as travelling 15 months after the end of their course (Graduate Outcomes 2020/21).

Next steps

Our postgraduates embark on careers in an impressive range of sectors.

Our alumni make their mark in an impressive range of careers and sectors. From the public to the private sector, careers are forged in a range of professions, from banking and law to teaching and working in the media, as well as respected paths in the heritage sector, faith organisations and NGOs.

Every year our graduates take their skills into the world, with many becoming the next generation of archaeologists and conservators here in the UK and across the globe.
