HCT199 - Evidencing Learning in Specialist Professional Practice

This module aims to offer you the opportunity to investigate an area of specialist professional practice.

You will carry out a needs analysis of their own learning and develop a learning contract in relation to a specialist area of your choice.

You will be expected to critically explore current practice in a defined area taking account of factors such as your philosophical aims of the profession if appropriate, as well as the requirement to be evidence-based. You will also be expected to delineate and critique possible advancements in respect of professional practice within your chosen area.

Students admitted to this module are required to be in possession of a relevant qualification providing registration to practice as a health professional.
