We partner with Xiamen University on research into catalysis and sustainable cities as well as running joint academic programmes andseed corn funding. Xiamen is Cardiff University's Confucius Insitute partner.

Our strategic partnership agreement with Beijing Normal University, China, signed on 28 November 2019, strengthens our long-standing relationship and extensive collaboration within fields of mutual interest.

University of Waikato - Te Whare Wãnanga o Waikato

Cardiff University and the University of Waikato - Te Whare Wãnanga o Waikato in Hamilton, New Zealand have entered into an International Strategic Partnership.

On 25 April 2023, Cardiff University signed a new Strategic Partnership Agreement with the University of Wyoming.

On June 23 2023, Cardiff University signed a new Strategic Partnership Agreement with the University of Illinois System (UI).

Dalian University of Technology

Our priority partnership with Dalian University of Technology supports joint academic programmes and student and staff exchanges.

The Sam Nujoma Marine and Coastal Resources Research Centre (SANUMARC) and Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences (DFAS) based at the Sam Nujoma Campus.
