Celebration of Eid

This event has ended.

All are invited to join us to celebrate Eid, the end of Ramadan.  This great Muslim festival marks the end of the fasting period of Ramadan and is one of the most joyous events in the Islamic calendar.  

The Deputy VC, Prof Karen Holford will say a few words of welcome, followed by our Muslim Chaplain, Sr Amina Shabaan who will speak and explain the significance of Eid.  There will be a light buffet provided and members of the Muslim community are also bringing food to share in the celebrations.  We do hope that you will be able to join us to celebrate Eid.
