Wales’ Fiscal Future - Wales Fiscal Analysis Conference 2019

We are delighted to announce that on Tuesday 2nd July we will be holding the first Wales Fiscal Analysis Conference at the Pierhead building in Cardiff Bay.

Wales Fiscal Analysis (WFA) is a research body within Cardiff University’s Wales Governance Centre that undertakes authoritative and independent research into the public finances, taxation and public expenditures of Wales.

The event will feature the latest research from the Wales Fiscal Analysis team, along with expert panels discussing the outlook for Welsh public finances, the impact of austerity on public services and policy options for the Welsh Government and local authorities, amongst other topics.

While the full programme will be announced in due course, we encourage early registration.

This conference is free of charge. It will be of special interest to researchers, academics, organisations with a stake in public finance, and the policymaking community, but is open to all interested members of the public, subject to registration.
