Industrial Advisory Board

Our panel of esteemed practising engineering and business professionals provide us with a range of experience and expertise and assist in developing strategies to improve our teaching and research activities.

The Industrial Advisory Board supports and guides us on a variety of projects and initiatives in teaching and learning, ensuring our courses are tailored to the needs of the industry. They also support us in developing our research and impact strategy, advising us on current and future research needs.

Led by Professor Rob Rolley, the Industrial Advisory Board currently comprises 40 members including senior managers from companies such as Airbus, Costain, GE, Mott Macdonald, National Instruments and Renishaw.

The Board includes representatives from the Welsh Government, UK Government, and other research user organisations such as Natural Resources Wales. Key members of the University's staff are also a part of the Board.
