Education for all

We offer a range of programmes to support a diverse student community, focussing on under-representation in higher education. Your gift will make a huge difference by supporting a student to begin or continue their studies.

Employability

We want to make sure that students leave the University equipped with the skills and experiences to start their careers.

Global opportunity scholarships

Help alleviate the financial barriers to work, study or volunteer abroad, something research has shown to improve academic performance and employment skills.

Research opportunity placements

Support students to experience research. They are able to contribute to real research at the University, gaining valuable skills for further study or a career in academia. Your gift will ensure that financial circumstances aren’t a barrier for students; all placements are fully paid allowing more students to access this programme.

Internships

Internships often provide a student’s first “real-life” paid work experience. Your gift will help us facilitate paid internships that increase employability, and often develop into further offers of employment following placements.

Health and wellbeing

We provide support for a range of issues affecting Cardiff students and building resilience. Your gift will help provide the infrastructure that supports students during their time at Cardiff University. Landmark projects, like the Centre for Student Life, are bringing award-winning student services to the heart of campus, making them more accessible.
