Research ethics
The Dental School Research Ethics Committee (DSREC) meets monthly to carry out a formal ethical review of research projects, and grant approval before the work starts.
A full study protocol, details of surveys or qualitative interview questions, and drafts of email invitations should all be submitted in addition to the application form, consent form, and subject information sheet.
Please note that research involving NHS patients typically lies outside remit of the DSREC.
