We have a wide range of research activities in the fields of condensed matter theory, classical electrodynamics, photonics and nonliner optics, as well as molecular dynamics and transport phenomena.
We work on refining the existing and developing new fundamental theoretical approaches and computational methods and proposing and modelling novel devise applications. We coordinate our research efforts closely with experimental efforts within the CMP group and develop collaboration with experimental groups from other universities in the UK and abroad.
