The impact of austerity on city governments in the UK
The aim of this project is to examine the impact of austerity on city governments in the UK since 2011.
We analyse how city governments have mediated the austerity measures instigated by the nation state.
We also examine both strategic decision-making across city governments, as well as the impact of austerity on the economic governance of cities.
