Brain Imaging

This is one of our newest research groups, benefiting from the state-of-the-art facilities at Cardiff University Brain Research Imaging Centre (CUBRIC).

We are active over a range of topics in condensed matter and photonics, from theory and experiment to application and exploitation and providing training for the next generation.

Sefydliad Archwilio Disgyrchiant

Cardiff Gravity Exploration Institute is engaged in research on black holes and gravitational waves, and was heavily involved in the first direct detection of gravitational waves.

Physics Education Research Group

The Physics Education Research Group conducts pedagogical research into physics education in collaboration with other United Kingdom higher education institutions and international collaboration partners.
