Biology Rocks

Over 3000 visitors joined scientists from Amgueddfa Cymru, Cardiff University and the Society of Biology to celebrate National Biology Week and Earth Science Week.

Brain games

Brain Games

An annual event held in the National Museum during National Science and Engineering Week. The highly interactive day of activities gives primary school pupils information about how the brain works and take part in fun and interactive activities.

The Open Day aimed to show the public how researchers are fighting cancer in Cardiff and gave a rare opportunity to meet the scientists, doctors and nurses who are working together to help beat cancer sooner.

National Eisteddfod 2016

Professor Arwyn Jones and his team regularly attend the Eisteddfod, in 2015 at the Science Pavilion the aim was to answer the question ‘What is a polymer?’ using a combination of interactive activities for all.
