Bywgraffiad
I have extensive experience of conducting systematic reviews in public health and social sciences.I have expertise in advanced literature searching, critical appraisal, synthesis of a broad range of evidence types and teaching evidence-based methods.
I have managed evidence review projects for a range of funders including the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE), the Welsh Assembly Government and NHS Evidence. Recent research has included the effects of slum upgrading on health and social outcomes; barriers and facilitators to children’s lifestyle weight management services; social determinants of child health and older people; and tobacco harm reduction. I am also one of the Trial Search Coordinators for the Cochrane Public Health Group (CPHG); providing information support and guidance to review authors and quality assurance of search methods employed in CPHG reviews.
I combined her SURE role with my ongoing work as a researcher at DECIPHer, supporting PHIRN related activities.
