The Sacred Reterritorialization of Welsh Modernist Verse'
My current PhD research investigates the variety of religious verse and thought in the formation of what I aim to identify as a distinctively Welsh Modernist poetic aesthetic, resulting in a template for re-evaluating religious discourse in wider Modernist criticism. This work builds on my MA dissertation which looked at the unexpected relationship between R.S. Thomas and William Williams Pantycelyn..
