About me
My research is focussed around volunteers and local environmental quality. In it, I work together with Keep Wales Tidy, researching the motivations, benefits, and impacts of volunteering, with a main focus on litter-picking. My research also focusses on the subsequential impact on neighbourhoods, environments and the community. We eventually hope to create a better understanding of the mutual benefits for communities and volunteers in urban areas.
I am also a teaching assitant within BSc programmes at the School of Psychology and the School of Geography and Planning. As well as being a tutor for the MA Urban Design.
Undergraduate Education
BSc Landscape Architecture and Spatial Planning (Wageningen University)
Minor in Secondary school Geography education (Second degree teaching qualification)
Postgraduate Education
MSc European Spatial Planning and Environmental Policy (Cardiff University)
MSc Environment and Society Studies (Radboud University Nijmegen)
