Research students satisfied at School of Mathematics

The thriving research community at the Cardiff School of Mathematics has been overwhelmingly positive about their experience at the School.
In the most recent Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) 92% of respondents said that they were satisfied with the experience of their research degree programme.
Themes where the School did particularly well were Supervision (95% positive), Resources (94% positive) and Research Skills (91%).
In the sector-wide comparison performed by the Higher Education Academy, the School is in the top quartile for Mathematical Sciences.
The School also received positive feedback in the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) with an overall satisfaction rate over 90%.
