Working towards stem cell therapies in Huntington’s disease

The Repair-HD research team at Cardiff University is delighted to present a public event, which will be held from 15:30 – 19:30 on Thursday 28 September at the Pierhead, Cardiff Bay.
Introduced by Mark Drakeford (AM), the afternoon bring together HD patients, academics, policy makers, health professionals and members of the public to highlight the advances and challenges in the use of stem cells as a therapy for Huntington’s disease. Speakers will include:
- Sarah Tabrizi: IONIS study - therapeutics interventions to clinic
- Pete Coffey: Taking stem cell treatments to clinical trial for macular degeneration
- Anne Rosser: Repair-HD - what have we achieved
- Ed Wild: Lead discussion on status of transplant therapies for HD
